Sinit - Israel
This is the space to introduce the business and what it has to offer. Define the qualities and values that make it unique.

Building The Brand

Font Style: Longlife
The Longlife font is somewhat reminiscent of Chinese-style characters. It gives a sense of traditionalism while looking stirdy.
Style
I made icons that followed a Chinese style along with Chinese characters, and China related imagery and a primary red color, complemented by various grays.
Tone
As a private tutor's website, the tone had to be accommodating yet authoritative. The user had to feel like the tutor knew this topic well and also knew how to teach it.
Objectives
1
The What
Tell the user what this website is about: Learning Chinese with a private tutor.
2
The How
Explain the tutor's teaching method and how it stands out from other approaches.
3
The Why
If the user chooses to become a student with this turor, the could eventually speak, read and write Chinese up to a certain level.
4
The Who
Introduce the tutor, his background, and experience.
5
The Offer
Explain what the user is getting:
- Private lessons
- Literature
6
Affirmation
An FAQ with the most common questions, the tutor's answers, and a CTA to get in touch to get more information.
Since many of the users were unlikely to know the tutor personally at first, trust had to be established.
The Final Design

I designed this website as a wireframe first, and then began building it on WIX, because it was the most user-friendly platform for non-experts. It included a webshop and I used the same visual brand guidelines on all pages, purchase stages and receipt.
