CNVRT
Just a simple exchange
CNVRT is a mobile p2p transaction platform. Bringing the easy and fun of social media apps to the international payments and financial transactions app market.

International Transactions
Cashless Payments
Group Funds
Transparent Book Keeping
Made To Make
Borders Irrelevant

While P2P mobile payment platforms are veery common, many of them lack one or another feature, which requires the user to hop over to another app/platform, possibly set it up, and finally pay what they need to pay. This app concentrates all those fetures into one.
Building The CNVRT Brand

Font type: Futura
Futura is a very modern, minimalistic font that helps reduce clutter, draw the user's attention, and let them get the point at a glance.
Style
The app had to be minimalistic. Many finance apps are too busy, with far too many buttons. I devided to let better navigation solve this issue.
Tone
The goal was to get the user to the finish line as quickly as possible, so every bit o text was written to be as precise as possible.
App Objectives
Mobile transaction apps are becoming ever-more popular, and each has its strengths and weaknesses. Some are very user-friendly but lack the flexibility many users require, and some are just exhausting to use, but offer users some additional features. I've defined thse objectives to guide me:
Borders are a non-issue
User must be able to use the app to complete local transaction, international transactions, pay for goods while abroad, collect money for a cause from all around the world.
Transparency is everything
Give the user full transparency over their account, while presenting only the what they want to see, when they want to see it. (e.g. transactions overview, group transaction breakdown etc.)
Short and sweet
The user should only have to think about their goal and not how it is done. Same as posting an image to instagram or typing a URL: they say what they want and the app does the rest.
Accommodates Everyone
We want grandparents to be able to send their grandkids something small for birthdays or holidays, so the design has to be intuitive and clearly labeled while also avoiding information overload.
Here are some screenshots while I'm building up the rest:

Mapping the journeys

Here are example scenarios:
-
A user from Country A needs to pay a seller from Country B in a different currency.
-
The user wants to gift someone a present.
-
The user wants to pay in a store while abroad.
-
The user wants to collect donations from strangers.
-
A group of friends want to pool together some money for a collective expense.
*I'm not an accountant, so I relied mostly on my experiences with various payment apps and websites.
